Apple Cancels its Electric Car Project, After a Decade of Development.

Over the past few days, it has emerged that Apple has discontinued its development of its electric car, known as Project Titan. The project has been in progress for 10 years and has cost the Tech giant a whopping $10 billion.

The decision effectively put an end to a 2014 proposal that aimed to assist Apple in expanding into a different sector and possibly achieving the same level of success as the iPhone.

Back in 2014, Apple joined the race to build a self-driving car. This was right around the time when Google started conducting trials of their prototypes on public roads in California, and at a time when many voices in Silicon Valley were predicting the imminent widespread use of autonomous vehicles. Apple was determined not to fall behind in this race.
